Plans and limits
See each plan's limits for people, devices, networks and shared networks, what happens at a limit, and what a plan change affects.
Limits are per organization: networks, people and devices are counted across the whole organization. You can see your usage in the Overview tab of the organization page.

What happens at a limit?
Hitting a limit never disconnects a working device or cuts someone's access; it only blocks new records:
| Limit | Blocked action | What you see in the panel |
|---|---|---|
| Devices | Creating a new device key | You've reached your plan's device limit. Existing devices keep working; remove a device or upgrade your plan to add more. |
| People | Sending a new invite | You've reached your plan's user limit. Upgrade for more. |
| Networks | Creating a new network | You've reached your plan's network limit. Upgrade to add more networks. |
| Shared networks | Approving another route | You've reached your plan's approved-route limit. Remove an approval or upgrade your plan. |
To make room, delete unused devices, cancel pending invites or upgrade your plan.
How are people counted?
The count includes every member of the organization (owner, admin, member) and unexpired invites. Cancelling an invite or letting it expire frees a spot.
How are devices counted?
The device count is the total across all networks in the organization. Devices in the Access revoked state count too, which is why deleting revoked devices frees room.
What a plan change affects
When the plan changes, the new limits apply right away. The addresses of devices on existing networks don't change: the address block is allocated once, when the network is created, and stays with it for its lifetime. The plan only decides which pool a newly created network draws from (Addresses and DNS).
When you move to a smaller plan, your current usage has to fit under the new plan's limits: a plan change made through support is refused while usage is over the limit. Delete unused devices or cancel pending invites first.
Managing the subscription
Subscription actions live in the Subscription tab of the organization page. The owner and the admins can see the tab and the subscription status; buying and changing a plan is available to the organization's owner only. This guide doesn't describe the payment steps yet; contact support with any questions.
